The Story
In small town America there are two major influences that bring people together: High-School Football on Friday night, and Church on Sunday morning. Glorious Season is a documentary film that brings both influences together in this remarkable story. Coach Tony Nafe and the Hope "Eagles" football team demonstrate that playing football is more than a sport... it's training for life. Coach Nafe and all of his coaching staff use positive encouragement and faith lessons to bring incredible results in the young men, both on and off the field.
While injury and losses are not a surprise in football, the team was shocked to learn that Coach Nafe was in advanced stages of cancer, and had only six months to live. His faith and life example may have taught them more about football than they ever expected.

Glorious Season is a story that needs to be told. There are many "football movies", but this is not a movie about football. It's not a movie about winning games, high school love affairs, or sensationalizing juvenile delinquent behavior. Glorious Season is a movie about people gathered around the flag of integrity. It's about people giving more than receiving and working together for the common good. It's a powerful story about faith that will change the lives of those who see it.
I am very excited to be a part of this project, and I believe that there are people like you who would love to help me tell this remarkable story.
